2021 Chard Farm The Tiger Pinot Noir

This single vineyard wine is grown on the Lowburn sub-region of Central Otago. The vineyard is on a gentle slope above the Cromwell basin and the wine benefits from gradual ripening resulting in velvety tannins and layered fruit flavours. 

This vineyard is renowned for producing wines of complexity, spice, red berries and violets. A structured palate of integrated and textural tannins beckons. 

Tasting note:
An enticing bouquet that slowly opens to reveal ripe red fruits of cherry and plum with subtle hints of raspberry and smoked dried herbs. Velvety texture and elegance hit the mid-palate to reveal layers upon layers of flavour. The finish lingers gracefully with a calm persistence and a luminous acidity that delivers pleasing freshness and length.
