Chard Farm's signarure Pinot Noir, this is the pick of the crop from the finest parcels of the Chard Farm Parkburn and Lowburn vineyards.
Mata-Au represents the Clutha river in the Cromwell basin, which used to flow over the area where these vines now grow.
This wine is perfumed and hedonistic, with elegance, minerality and structure.
Tasting note
Sweetly perfumed with ripe cherries and violets accompanied by subtle undertones of intricate spice and earthiness. Generous red fruits integrated with chalky tannins and seamlessly carry the refined palate to a long and luscious finish.
